Do you enjoy working out at the gym when it's peak time or when you're almost by yourself?

I know some people enjoy the loudness of a full packed gym. It increases their adrenaline. Others like it coz it's a chance to show their bodies in the mirror or their weight lifting progress. And I've known a few who just like to "watch and judge" 😒
I personally like it in the slower times, sometimes just two or three people. Especially when I haven't been working out for a while and just coming back and you're like crawling off after a few bodyweight exercises 🤭🤭🤭 or it takes a lot longer to finish sets on the machines 😅

When I’m with a friend, I don’t care how many people are around us. I’m just focused on them and helping them find their limit. When I’m by myself, I get incredibly self-conscious and I prefer not even going.

@ThatGuyinHeels I know what you mean about being self-conscious. It does play around with the mindset. Just remember your purpose in going and don't mind what anybody what else might be thinking. If you're conscious about maybe not knowing how to operate the machines or unsure of the movement you're doing, there are usually people you can ask who would be willing to help, be it the instructors or someone right next to you.

@KittyKat121 You’re right—I’m probably overthinking it. On some level, I’m aware of that. It’s just one of those lovely side effects of ADHD that I don’t always have a strong lid on. 🙃
