Exercising again

I need to get simple strength back. I’m trying yoga again. After surgery, I’d lost strength and flexibility; basically every gain I’d acquired over the couple years when physical improvement had been my focus is gone. These past few months kicked my ass that badly. There’s no more strength in my grip and my arms are noodles once again. My legs lost their definition.

But now I’m well enough to do something to get back on track. I’m not waiting for the mastectomy to be done (even though that will set me back as well). I need to be moving and improving right now. So I started HIIT routines too, and I feel amazing. It’s been so long that I forgot how good it felt. It’s like the blood I feel flowing afterwards is clean; like working out and getting it moving makes it feel alive.

I’m alive. 😌

Can you try an easy version of headstand? You can feel the blood rush with any version of it.
@TheOrionbeltseeker No kidding. How funny.

@Colonelmustardseed just consult the doctor if it would be safe. It will help your arms. But i dont know if its the best way to start any exercise.
@TheOrionbeltseeker I don’t have the strength currently to lift my legs off the ground like that, let alone balance. 😅 I’d flop over.

@Colonelmustardseed Then do it when you gain strength after a while probably. I am sure you have walls around you. They won't fall if you lean against them.
