I like the way science does it.

First it explains the phenomena of cold weather and hot weather and then when parts of Europe get hot in cold weather, it finds excuse in a new principle "Heat Dome"

Sometimes, I think God just want to have fun with these people who want to generalise everything, every phenomenon as "Universal scientific thing" happening in the nature.

Science thinks back whereas theology thinks forward. Interestingly, that's even evident in the inaccurate estimations in the past with people who have made "scientific" assumptions on ancient people. Science observes then tries to understand by making assumptions whereas the primitives tried to explain what they observed. Typically modern day "science" assumes that the ancients tried to understand the world by making assumptions. Science got that wrong.

@Emosaur
You're the most ignorant "skeptic" ever, holy shit.
NO! I won't have it! There's a fellow at Thinking atheist forums called Bucky Ball . . . .
Alright, the word theism comes from the Greek word theos, meaning god ordeity, and describes a belief in at least one theistic deity, meaning a deity or many deities of an established religion.
Theism is the speculation of theos, or deities, atheism is the other side of the coin. You can't be atheistic without considering the theistic. Monotheistic, polytheistic, atheistic, henotheistic etc. You may not be very good at it but you are considering the theistic. Heterosexual, homosexual, asexual are all sexual proclivities. Apolitical - it's like the Rush song says: "If you choose not to decide you still have made a choice."
Well, as lying is a sin in Christianity I'd assume they'd at least avoid lying,
Dumb assumptions.

Joshua 2:4-6 - And the woman [Rahab] took the two men and hid them and said thus: There came men unto me, but I wist not whence they were; and it came to pass about the time of shutting of the gate, when it was dark that the men went out; whither the men went I wot not; pursue after them quickly, for ye shall overtake them. But she had brought them up to the roof of the house and hid them with the stalks of flax.

James 2:25 - Was not Rahab, the harlot, justified by works, when she had received the messengers, and had sent them out another way?

Response: Rehab was not under any moral obligation to tell the officers of the king of Jericho the truth which would have resulted in the destruction of her and her family by the Israelites, or if found out then by the king of Jericho. She knew of the recent exploits of the Israelites in battle and she put faith in Jehovah, their God and so was declared righteous.

1 Kings 22:21-22 - And there came forth a spirit, and stood before the Lord, and said, I will persuade him . . . I will go forth and be a lying spirit in the mouth of all his prophets. And he said, Thou shalt persuade him and prevail also; go forth and do so.

Response: This is what the apostle Paul called "operation of error." It is a case of allowing those who prefer to believe in a falsehood to continue to do so. (2 Thessalonians 2:9-12) Micaiah had foretold disaster but the prophets of king Ahab didn't want to hear the truth, he wanted victory. It should be recognized that Micaiah did foretell the truth, but Ahab chose not to listen.
but either way they always end up admitting their god doesn't exist without realizing it.
Well, they're idiots. Atheists just do the opposite, They always end up admitting their god does exist, but what does it matter if they exist or not. The Shintoists know the goddess Amaterasu doesn't exist because they invented it, but it still serves their purpose. The Christian God of occidental dominance is a transmogrification of the Biblical, but it works for them.

Has the "God did it" explanation ever helped anyone? Science has.
@TheOrionbeltseeker Stop embarrassing yourself by trying to discredit scientific findings. Speculation would be to form a theory without firm evidence which in this instance is not the case. I'd suggest you read up on seismic waves.
TheOrionbeltseeker · 36-40, M
@PrincessOfHell I would suggest you to read CMBs too and its effects on weather. Many a scientists still can't give credit to the CMBs

@TheOrionbeltseeker Laughable. Scientific advances include everything from cures for diseases to early earthquake detection. Lots of lives saved.
Observing and trying to understand phenomenas is not the same as generalizing. A "Heat Dome" is not an excuse, it's an explanation and the term for a weather condition.
TheOrionbeltseeker · 36-40, M
@PrincessOfHell It is a half hearted explanation because it does not explain exactly why it happens. All theories are "It may be" not "It is". Science should not have a place for it maybe.

@jshm2 Correct. I am not comparing science. In your first paragraph, your reference to the cat not being in the room says it all. Thank you.
The Scientific Method was not developed until after The Enlightenment began. It's a non physical tool. Are you complaining about terminology of phenomena? Stateside we get 'bomb cyclones', a phrase I never heard of decades ago. Nevertheless, they are extra intense and deadly.

Howz that pay the bills

@Emosaur You don't know about me. If you are from science and you can comment on me then I believe that science knows nothing and still comments like it comments about the atoms present in the Sun.
