Why is it that many Christians accept that evolution is a fact but deny that the Human animal has evolved as well?

Superiority complex doesn't need to make sense. To say they have evolved means at one point we were not superior and other life forms were never superior.

Yeah the desire to feel special appears to be a powerful motivator for reasoning
