So I just binge watched a full 8 hours of Wednesday Addams.
Spoilers btw. So here's what I don't understand. How come the undead leader pilgrim suddenly has a magical staff? Like seriously, gain some introspective "oh I hate outcasts" even though I'm a magic staff wielding zombie wizard like really. And it was all about Wednesday grasping at straws of the truth and her friends trying to egg emotions out of her. Where's the funny dark humor like in the Addams family movies? "Is your lemonade made from real lemons?, " To which Wednesday replies, " are girl scouts made of real girl scouts?" Like it's just...another drama like 'once up on a time' or 'days of our lives' almost. I mean, I liked it, but feels like it could be better. And how predictable the one good trap Wednesday leaves for her enemy with her morphed principal. Low and behold she gets syringed with deadly nightshade. Saw that coming from a mile away. Meh...
