Well they're not still using slavery today. Plantations aren't inherently bad.

@calicuz I don't think it's necessarily a celebration just by holding a wedding there. There would have to be some pro-slavery imagery or something.

@BohemianBabe would you think it appropriate to have a wedding at the site of a Holocaust massacre? Or in a home where a family was slaughtered? It's all about human decency.

@AngelUnforgiven I wouldn't see a problem with that either unless the area was being used as a memorial or something like that. Like holding a wedding in front of a Holocaust museum wouldn't be appropriate.
