He was exhausted when he got home

My buddy has worked so hard on this case. I could tell when he got home he was totally exhausted. He did his best to celebrate with us but it didn't last long. He did eat his pizza but as he got his Sundae he sat down in his recliner and fell asleep before he could take a few bites. Our daughter took his ice cream then put a blanket over him and we went to our bedroom to watch movies with the boys so he could sleep. He didn't even wake up to enjoy our cigars and whiskey so we saved the good ones for tomorrow. We'll just have to make tomorrow extra special you Valentine's Day and celebrating his victory when he is well rested.
