Did everyone have a good Thanksgiving?

What did you have to eat?

@Lilnonames That's everything under the sun, pretty much. Looks good.

@Bri89 had a good time

@Bri89 thank u

Perfect. Home alone. I abstained from going to the annual family get together and made the traditional dinner. I cooked a Butterball turkey breast in the crock pot, mashed potatoes, gravy, stuffing, and corn. Apple pie. I ate when I wanted, as much as I wanted; and I didn't have to deal with my brother's foul mouthed wife and sisters-in-law, my nephew's mother-in -law trying to get in my pants, or any smart mouthed 10 - 12 year old teenyboppers and their squirt guns. Best Thanksgiving EVER.

@LoneVoice You made a peaceful choice, glad you were happy with it. Sounds like a great dinner too. No one should have to put up with all of that.
@cherokeepatti And NOT be able to say anything. 🤐

@LoneVoice it would be good to find others like yourself. Family is not always blood-related.

Free-range rooster roasted in the Crockpot with Thyme-garlic seasoning, sweet potatoes, steamed broccoli and Brazilian tapioca cheese rolls. I had to make things that were simple this year, and that I could digest. It was good. We had no desserts except for fresh fruits and I had a good serving of pomegranate seeds, which hit the spot.

I didn't have a traditional Thanksgiving.....went with my family to Pigeon Forge, TN and saw a dinner show for Thanksgiving. It was worth the change up. Fried chicken, corn on the cob, mashed potatoes, pulled pork barbecue, rolls, creamy soup, and banana pudding. ☺️

@cherokeepatti Exactly.....delicious food and fun!!

@Indy74 It doesn’t get any better than that on a holiday does it?
Indy74 · 46-50, F
@cherokeepatti It sure doesn't.....next time I wanna check out Dolly Parton's Dixie Stampede dinner show. Acrobatics and stunts on horseback. Looks like a lot of fun too!
Turkey, Ham and of course Lasagna and all the trimmings that go with the holiday

@saragoodtimes That sounds very good. Any desserts?
@Bri89 made pumpkin pie, cheesecake and Dad brought the Italian pastries from probably the best bakery in NJ

No. I didn’t feel like it plus what am I celebrating? It doesn’t make sense plus I thank God everyday anyway without a turkey

I was alone and made some real Buffalo chicken wings.

Much like this:

The best I've had in a few years. We had turkey, stuffing, mashed potatoes, carrots and gravy. For dessert I had bread pudding and pumpkin pie 😋

@cherokeepatti It was fabulous 🤗❤️❤️❤️😋😋😋

@Musicman we made a simple meal too and had fruit for dessert. It was good. I made tapioca cheese rolls, it is a batter blended in a blender and poured into sprayed mini-muffin tins, makes 24 rolls. I indulged and ate 4 of those rolls and the rest just disappeared before we got up from the table. I need to make them again since we like them so much.
