What were some of your Thanksgiving mishaps over the years?

Not mine, but my grandmother's.

She had cooked the turkey the night before and left it out uncovered all night and day until we showed up for dinner.

Ended up eating canned veggies and cranberry sauce and then going to Waffle House for Thanksgiving dinner that year. 😂

It wasn’t Thanksgiving but a turkey dinner in February. Invited my husbands parents over, had everything on the table and had forgotten the rolls. I made everything from scratch including the rolls, had to reheat after we sat down and were eating.

Every seen one of those videos where the deep fried Turkey starts a inferno an poof out the pot .. yeah wasn’t me lol
