Thanksgiving specials

Aside from turkey, stuffing, etc., what food do you Americans (and Canadians) enjoy the most at your Thanksgiving table. A school friend -- southern and African American -- has a family recipe for collard greens with walnuts and turkey chunks. I could make that my entire Thanksgiving dinner! How about you?

Growing up, we always had:

Appetizers- black olives, baby pickles, and deviled eggs

Main course- turkey, mashed potatoes, gravy, steamed garlic green beans (no one liked green bean casserole), sweet potato casserole, cornbread dressing, and cranberry sauce. (Soooo many carbs 馃あ)

Desserts- pecan pie, apple pie
