Do you prefer turkey or ham for Thanksgiving?

[c=800000]To me, unless there is a turkey on the table it is not a true Thanksgiving meal. [/c]

@MarineBob for Christmas 🎅🏼
@MarineBob @Miklee02 the average family is going to need a second mortgage to afford Prime Rib this year. I make one for New Years. so easy and no hassle if I fall asleep

@saragoodtimes oh we’re having prime rib for Christmas Day 🎅🏼

Ham. I’ll eat turkey if I have to. We are actually all deciding our menu for thanksgiving as we speak. We were trying to avoid turkey this year and it looks like it’s unavoidable.
@Keepitsimple more and more turdukens are becoming popular here

@saragoodtimes my problem is there is 20 people with various diets..no meat, diabetic, no sauce no this or that. I get so disgusted and wind up dreading the holidays sometimes.
@Keepitsimple only concern here is my MIL she's in her 80's but still spry

Turkey! And mashed potatoes, peas, stuffing (not dressing), mashed turnip, hot rolls, apple cider, pumpkin pie.

In the south, it's more about turkey gravy than the actual turkey...

@wildbill83 If you have gravy make biscuits and have breakfast
TexChik · F
@wildbill83 Giblet gravy with boiled egg slices in it?
Bri89 · 31-35, M
To be honest, even though I like turkey, I prefer ham as it is easier to cook.

We always have both.

Either/or. I'm usually working. Challenge is finding a bar open at 0200 on Christmas night.

My friend will usually show up at midnight. Greenwich Village are the only ones we can find open
Zonuss · 41-45, M
Turkey most definitely. If you make it the right way it's one of the best foods in the world. 🙂
@Zonuss slow cooked at low temp so moist and juicy. don't forget the oyster stuffing
JohnnyNoir · 56-60, M
Ham or seafood
Bone in prime rib roasts, maybe four ribs or so.
