Favourite day of the week.

Anyone else got a roast in the oven?
Today we're having lamb with mint sauce, roast potatoes, parsnips and green beans.
Oh, and wine. Always wine on Sundays. 🍷

I like Sunday for it being God's Day of rest. I have my own deep convictions, but they are mine alone and I do not attend a church with all the judgmental folk just to have a feel-good moment. Being single and living alone on my farm I just enjoy a day of peace and quiet and not working on any projects on my farm. Walks in the woods, fishing my pond, hunting, or drives to see a part of the state or surrounding states that I want to see. No major meals for the lack of people to share in them.
