@helenS People from other states move to Arizona then whine that it must be global warming. It’s normal for it to be 110/115 here, sometimes hotter. Normal summer day here.

@jackson55 Yes, when I was in the US, I traveled through the country on those famous "Greyhound" buses, on my own. There was this bus trip from Arizona to California. I remember that the bus was ice-cold inside, I had to wear a jumper, and then we stopped in the middle of nowhere, in the desert, and left the bus, and there was this Kentucky Fried Chicken Joint and it was so hot outside it was almost unreal. I had a very strong feeling that [u]this[/u] is America. I remember that feeling so vividly it's as if it had been yesterday.
