I got up bright and early —well, it wasn't all that bright, and early only from my perspective of a weekend. The wife insisted that we needed to empty out the garage and clean it, so much so that she hired our regular handyman to come by and give us, well, a hand. Which meant that we were stuck with doing the task even though it was cold and wet from the rainstorms last night. Fortunately, the wife had already done a great deal in the garage, and had thinned out what was in there over the months. So it wasn't too bad of a chore, especially with a couple guys stopping by to give us a hand. I'm still exhausted, though, even after an afternoon nap to recover. Getting old sucks.
We then did some experimental cooking, grilling and shredding some king oyster mushrooms to make pulled BBQ mushroom sandwiches, along with trying to turn some KOMs into something resembling bacon. Not entirely successful, but still pretty tasty.
Anyway, now I'm in my office and on to work on my book some more. Yay!
