What goes through your mind every Monday morning when you’re getting ready for work?

I sit here and think what special hell is ready and waiting for me this week.

There are a lot of really really good things about my job but it just seems that there is at least one really tough day every week and I hate when that usually erupts on a Monday morning
Well I don't have to go to work anymore but I can tell you that I totally earned this privilege of being able to finally rest and relax. I know how that is and I'm sorry it's hard on you. I remember those days.

@LadyGrace Thank you kindly, and yes, I am very mobile and active. I have to be for my own mental health besides owning a forestry farm and being its only worker as well as building my own dream home by myself. I can jog but lost the ability to run post the two spine surgeries to keep from being paralyzed from the waist down. And two right shoulder reconstructions took out my football and baseball throwing ability but still very strong and active indeed.

Thank you, for you caring though.

Oh yes, I forgot about you're absolutely stunning creations! The best I've ever seen in home construction and I wish everyone could see your gorgeous work. I hope you'll post tons of them because I have never seen such professional workmanship. Good for you!!

@LadyGrace Thank you, but I just let the good Lod work his art through me. God truly is my architect in everything I do.

Yeah and I’m now sitting in my own hell of a family law file. Nothing worse than that

I had a 27 year long career in the Army and there were days when getting up and training and being around the troops was enjoyable, then there were the war time days that absolutely destroyed my faith in humanity.

So, I completely understand. Good luck and God bless.

When I was a child, I would wake up every morning and say, "I don't want to go to school today."
Things haven't changed. I still wake up and say, "I don't want to go to work today."
My thoughts are glad i dont have to leave the house.

Yes I have weekly reporting and commentary on Monday. It's the busiest morning. It's not that stressful in my current role though.
Jenny1234 · 51-55, F
@JimboSaturn so you actually have to speak in words and full sentences on a Monday morning lol?
JimboSaturn · 51-55, M
@Jenny1234 Fortunately is just written, I used to have to drive a forecast meeting Monday mornings, yuck!

@Stereoguy you’re very lucky!
@Jenny1234 When my Grandfather was forced into medical retirement, within six months he was going so stir crazy he took on freelance debugging code gigs.
