My faith in humanity was restored to some degree yesterday.

I took my two daughters trick or treating and everywhere we went people were friendly an getting into the spirit of things. Lots of people had put lots of thought and effort into their children's costumes. I think this is the first time my two girls were old enough to get what the night was all about and enjoy it without getting shy or jumpy.

This is why I love Halloween...it's the one holiday where the community comes together and can have fun ...unfortunately because of trunk or treat it's dying out and every year there are less and less people participating....it's sad

Nice! We had over 100 kids come by our house last night, and I was impressed that almost all of them said "thank you" without prompting from a parent.
