Halloween A Big Day for you as a kid?
Was Trick or Treat popular when you were a kid? I think it’s changed a lot since Covid as hardly anybody comes to my door. What was your favorite candy to get when you went trick or treating?

I only got to go trick or treating once or twice. Mom claimed it was because she was afraid of all the razor blades in apples and poison in the candy stories, but I'm sure it was just because she didn't want to be bothered with taking me around for it.
Come to think of it, the only times I did get to go trick or treating were when I went with a bunch of kids being taken by their parents.

@DunningKruger definitely never touched anything that wasn’t sealed. We heard the razor blade in apples stories too. I never saw that happening. It was a big day for me as I was a big candy eater!

@4thdimensiondream There was never a confirmed case of anyone ever finding razor blades or ground glass or anything like that in their treats. The only known case of kids getting poisoned by Halloween candy was when their father tried to bump them off for the insurance money.
