Quiet night in?

Ever since we began fostering her nearly two years ago, our daughter's Friday afternoon routine has been almost completely unaltered.

Slam front door - Hurl school bag in corner - Start to change out of school uniform - Start furiously doing homework half dressed so it does not encroach on precious weekend time - Appear for dinner in ordinary clothes or pyjamas, depending on whether she wants to go out again.

Today . . shoes, socks and blazer scattered on hall floor. Encouraging sounds of industry emerging from behind bedroom door. If she choses to go out again after dinner I know it won't be far or for long because she has gymnastics early tomorrow. But I'd quietly be pleased if she eventually appears in her nightie . . perhaps we can watch a film together and drink hot chocolate 🤗

Awwwww! 💖💖💖 I LOVE hot chocolate with cream and marshmallows! 🤗🤗🤗 I also LOVE Disney movies and cartoons but I dislike mature movies not aimed at kids but I hope whatever you both choose to watch you'll enjoy it lots! 😍😍😍 Pyjamas, bare feet, a blanket, a teddy, hot chocolate with all the delicious trimmings and a movie with hugs and cuddles is the perfect family night in our family especially for my youngest and oldest as my middle girl rather play video games with her daddy in the gaming room next door to the living room! 😌😌😌 I wish you both lots of fun and if she goes out I hope she enjoys and I hope gymnastics tomorrow flips her whole world UPSIDE DOWN and makes her a very happy gymnast! 🤸‍♀🤸‍♀🤸‍♀
