It's not just animals who suffer, elderly people, those with sensory processing issues and people with PTSD from spending time in war/conflict.

yeah...fireworks and animals don't mix...if i never seen another fireworks show (which i haven't in years) i'd be ok with that...they can be very stressful for animals...imagine going to prison as an innocent person in a mexican or el salvadoran prison....really no different

This morning I went to the city park to feed the animals, and boy, you could tell that everyone from crows and squirrels to finches were spooked. It was oddly quiet. By afternoon the Sunday crowd was tossing Peanuts, and things seemed basically okay.
