They're doing fireworks down the street

I just jumped so much. I typically am ok with them and like them...but feel so on edge every minute they're going off... Ughh🎆

wish instead of buying fireworks, people would donate that money to animal shelters to feed rescue dogs and cats. it would sure help them and ease the fear in our house pets.

Same thing here, last night. An official display in a local park. I knew it was happening, and it happens every year the weekend before the 4th.

Yet I had briefly forgotten, so when they started it was a shock. I almost leapt up from my chair.

@mysteryespresso Loud noises make me hypervgilant, moreso than in years passed. They just finished yay!!! If I'm watching them I'm ok, but Bec I could only hear them I was on edge...even if I know it's fine.
