A week of snow mobiling and snow cat adventures at Yellowstone Natl Park and stay in the park lodge. Follow that a few days later with a week of scuba diving in Aruba to warm up. Then our Christmas visits with family.

Bills and expenses are one thing , but the profit loss would be unacceptable . I’d rather work .

Go to Barcelona for a week, and then take a bunch of fam anywhere in the world they want, while we go to Hawaii for a week, then to Tokyo for a few days and then to Thailand to visit family, and stop in Puerto Rico for a day to visit a friend of.mine. Maybe hire some people to smuggle some family out of Ukraine safely. Hire some hitman to arrest Putin. Buy epic Christmas presents for everyone I know and generally spoil them rotten. Buy a small greenhouse and lots of plants. Use what money I can to donate or help people. (Would have to figure out a loophole to make that a bill or expense)
Like...Hire people to fix the lead pipe problem in the city, that people keep putting off year after year. Housing for homeless.

@Scribbles COME TO BARCELONA! I would love to show you my adopted city😍🤩🥳

Fortunately, I've lived that life for the past 3 years. Life is simple and I'm grateful for all that I have. It doesn't require much to make me happy. So like now sitting on my patio having coffee and listening to my grands bicker on the trampoline is a life of luxury for me!

Well... Since the Navy is unlikely to honor such a contest I would likely have a normal month. But I'll play along....

1) I would call my girlfriend and let her know I'll be home three weeks early!

2) I would get to my condo and get things set up and moved in.

3) Since I now have all this time home I would think about actually getting a Christmas tree.

4) I would check in with mom & dad and see if I can help somehow getting ready for the family Christmas gathering.

5) I would reach out to my uncle to see how is health situation is and see what I can do to help with the business.

6) I would check in with the women's shelter I used to volunteer at to get back on the schedule.

Other than that I would relax and unwind. It's been a crazy five years. 🙂

I have to use pto or lose it. Off today and tomorrow. Work Monday the 5th then off till the 23rd. Almost the whole month of December off. Have to work Christmas Eve and Christmas Day but will get double time plus 8 hours regular pay for both days.

I would flood all the local food banks with enormous bulk orders...pallets full of canned hams, canned chicken, meals ready to eat, and much, much more. My fingers would probably seize up with all the donations I would make, to my favorite charities, animal shelters, and more.

I would pay for the establishment of a Classical Christian school in a local school building that has now been abandoned by the Catholic Church, and train up a new generation of sane children, who know how to THINK for themselves instead of repeating dogma that is drummed into their heads by their Stalinist teachers.

SLEEP! Have some lunches with a few friends to catch up. Deep clean the house. Finish some Crochet gifts.

@Stereoguy Sure! But that would happen even if I was working for the month. It’s still my regular pay so bills will still be due.
sounds like every other month to me. I'm always off and never worry about bills and expenses being paid
Christmas might get a little nutty.

@Stereoguy I’m sure it is, but everything’s a pain in the van because of space 😆

I’ll let you know once we’re settled. Should be later this year. Come have some coffee and sunshine!

I'd probably go to Thailand. I wasn't expecting to take the month off.
@Stereoguy Yea. I don't think it's a good idea to live there. It is only my vacation place.
It would be like if I said I wanted to live in Las Vegas.

@Stereoguy Rebecca is one beautiful kitty. So lucky both of you to have each other.

I was adopted by a kitty 9 years ago and my life has been much sweeter and nicer because of him.
