What is it with peace-loving hippie music festivals and casualties?

If you see any upcoming music festivals and shows about promoting peace and love and all that, and are thinking about going, DON'T. Ever since Altamont Free back in 1969, these events have not had a good track record of everyone attendance making it out alive. Not to mention being handled so poorly, they're far from being loving and peaceful. It's pretty ironic how no one ever dies at metal music festivals named Hellfest and Brutal Assault. You really might have a better chance of surviving in a damn moshpit at one of those events than at a hippie festival.
