So just wondering, about birthdays…

I love birthdays. I was born in September and Autumn is my favourite season so I always have a cake to share with seasonal things on it like pumpkins, oak leaves, and apples made out of icing. My mother is so good at baking and it's a real treat to have a family party with all the goods. I love real cards too and not the ones sent online, there is something special about personally writing birthday wishes for someone on a card.

Considering that I was born January 1st, there were fireworks in the sky and firecrackers going off...so the world was a little brighter and louder the day I arrived☺

There are pros and cons to celebrating my birthday on New Year's Day, I could never have a full attendance at my birthday parties because some people are hung over from celebrating New Year's Eve lol😂...but the nice part of it is knowing that many countries around the world are celebrating the New Year with their loved ones, when there's lots of laughter, joy and hearts full of hope that the new year will bring better things in their lives.

It makes me feel cared for when someone remembers my birthday, but I haven't really ever had anyone make a big deal out of it. It's nice when people remember.

My birthday is just another reminder of the fact that I still don't have my daughter here... all the events I missed - and all the events I continue to miss.

I don't care about my birthday, it's just another day. I do make my familys birthday special though

I was born in July, birthday parties were only relatives who happened to be around. Other kids were in camp or on trips.

Birthdays are just another day. If it were a legal holiday, then it would be a reason to celebrate
