My tiny tornado

Today was our family birthday party at grandmas for our youngest boy. Other than the heat it was a wonderful day. And did my tiny tornado get spoiled. He got so many gifts and money. And when everyone sang him happy birthday he started to cry.

I asked him why he was crying and he said he just got to happy inside because so many people care about him.

This child of mine

After the party and helping Grandma clean up we went to the hospital to see my buddy. We called first to make sure he was up to visitors.

We brought him dinner and birthday cake and my tiny tornado told him all about his birthday party. He put on a live action play for him. We stayed for about 45 minutes and Joel took the kids to the car.

I asked him how he was doing and he said he was doing okay. He talked for about 10 minutes and then Star walked in the room.

He was so happy to see her, and so was I.

I told him I'd be by tomorrow and to let me know if he needed me to bring anything.

So yeah today was a good day.

When we got home we all went to the game from to watch the Royals and banana ball.

After the kids we in bed Joel and I had some whiskey and a cigar. He couldn't stay up to late because he has to work tomorrow. I laid down with him until he fell asleep. I got up and went back outside. I stayed up for a hour after him and as I was about to go to bed Star came home.

She asked me to have a drink and a cigar with her. How could I say no.

I asked her if she was ok.

She said no but I don't want to talk about it but I don't want to be alone.

I can do that I said.

We sat outside for about 2 hours. She barely said anything but I was okay with it. What ever she needed.

She stood up and said she was tired. She thanked me for sitting outside with her.
She then asked if I was going to see him tomorrow.

I said yes and she said ok can I come with you

If course. I was going to leave after Joel gets home and lunch.

She nodded and walked inside.

So today was a good day

He. Had such a great party and that's so precious he even cried, feeling all the care for him. He' has more emotional intelligence than many that age.
I'm so sorry about your buddy ... Will he be heading home soon? I'm sure your visit and Tiny tornado recap made his day🎊

@Coralmist we're not sure yet what's going on with my buddy we're having a family meeting Tuesday to talk about his situation and he's getting reevaluated Wednesday in a decision will be made then by the therapist so it's kind of wait and see right now.
