USO Event at the USS Intrepid Museum in New York Harbor

We were invited probably because we have contributed some money ever since i left the Navy, It was an amazing experience, truly extraordinary.

@samueltyler2 My son and his wife serve in the USCG. It was great to see the USCG Eagle there.

That's great! I watched most of it on TV. We were proud to see our local ship, the Elissa, which was the oldest ship in the parade, built in 1877, I think.

@samueltyler2 in one of the photos it looks like some soldiers are dangling/steeped to a net on a ship to show red white and blue.it also has soldiers dressed in yellow. I'm wondernf why yellow uniforms?
