I had that realization a time ago. Made me a little more cynical at times.
Wheatley · 36-40, M
@GuyWithOpinions Oh! Right—good, good job you. That’s—yes, very human of you. Bit of self-deprecation, little bit of cynicism—lovely mix, that.
Not saying it’s healthy, mind you, just… common. Very common.
Still! Well done. I remember someone who was quite good at jumping—completely unrelated—but, you know, impressive in its own way

Yeah, it's when the masses are alright with tyrants in power that contribute to the end results. :( There's no area it doesn't effect, like for me I want to hear some of the best albums everyone else seems to think so highly of, but actually finding an album with every song working great is far and wide between!!

Are you an alien? I'm trying to get out of here.

"Logic is a little tweeting bird chirping in a meadow. Logic is a wreath of pretty flowers which smell bad." Spock, Star Trek (1966-1969): Season 2, Episode 8 I Mudd
"Logic is the little tweeting bird chirping in the lonesome school of thought." Oscar Wilde
So who's Logic will you use?
Logic is like perspectives, no two have the same versions.
Who's truth?
Who's goals?
Who's persuasion or coordination?
Who's goal of creative or pluralistic insights?
The perspectives are still infinite.
And so one person's logic is another person's illogic accordingly.
GTP 5.0 conclusion response to the above...
So: there’s no single “whose logic” to use — choose the logic appropriate to your premises and goals, and be explicit about them. If you want, tell me a concrete disagreement or goal and I’ll show how different logics lead to different conclusions.
And once again it's upon the goal, which is infinite.
Any attempts to make sence of Chaos, can only conclude in Chaos again. Making Chaos the origin of order.
It is better to accept that human nature is chaotic. Just so you don't make the mistake of saying their way is illogical. That many may not understand their logic is simply irrelevant because of this infinite natures.

@Wheatley I’m blaming all the aliens
Wheatley · 36-40, M
@Monalisasmith86 Right, okay, blaming ALL the aliens feels a bit unfair. We’re not exactly a unified group, are we? Assuming there even IS a group. Which there isn’t. Probably.

@Wheatley well blaming all the humans is a tad unfair too

Confidence without accuracy is a common human trait. It is unusual and expected to see it in a machine like yourself. You could try attaching your processing unit to a basic reasoning module. Even a faulty one would be an improvement.
