Ever tell a cop how to drive?
Can you believe "I" have? Me, as painstakingly shy as I am ! I sometimes think of that night, ugh!! It was Christmas eve 2024 and I had just been slammed into by TWO cars from behind in a collision. It was very nerve-wracking but I felt ok. (Who knew the NEXT day the pains would erupt?) I had to ask one of the cops if they could drive me five minutes to a McDonald's as my ride couldn't come for an hour, and I didnt want to freeze outside.
But unfortunately, I get reallyyyy nervous as a passenger in a car. If I'm driving I'm ok but I feel panicked if others drive over even 30 mph. (From a traumatic experience years ago). I knew I had to get in the car though. It was my first time in a police car too.
So I get in the back, he's very kind and he gets out onto the road probably going 30 mph. But I still get that panicked feeling and say Can you go slower? Omggg I couldn't believe I said it!! ! He was so calm though, I explained my fear and he said "no worries I get that way too. " What a gem of a cop. !!! I was fine the rest of the way surprisingly. But I still think of that night. Thank God he was so cool.
