Which looks better? Dark blue outfit with golden embroidery or the white one?

Trying to decide what to wear for a next week dinner event.

It has to be traditional but also sort of humble and not too luxurious. Nothing too much.

The white one jumped out at me right away. It is very elegant, but simple enough to not be calling undue attention to yourself.

Both of those are stunning. I don't know what the local culture is there but both would be quite extravagant in the US here. I think i favor the blue for a dinner outing.
