Is this event true?

A farmer/rancher said that the FDA won't let him ship his Black Angus cattle to the slaughter house to be turned into meat. They will pay him $2300.00 per animal if he kills them. The video of the dead cattle in the Kansas feedlot showed all the animals were black angus. Can anyone else confirm what the farmer/rancher said?

Animals in feed lots have plenty of water, plenty of food, for 1000s of animals to die from heat, it would have to be something major. I lived in Texas for 12 years and every summer there is a stretch where it is over 100 degrees for as long as 30 days. I drove every day through 20 miles of cattle ranches and don't believe I ever saw a cow dead from heat.

So far I haven't seen it. What I have seen is that several thousand have died, supposedly due to the heat and humidity.
