We wait for Trumps successor. It does not bode well.

I wondered that but we don't yet know what it really means. Even the EU's Commission and Parliament seem not to have worked that out.

Arrangements like those between the EU and Norway may be more useful and at least the legislators know what they are.

As for Turmp, it's likely his petulance and incompetence in international affairs that has brought this about; but he has only two years left to go as the USA's "leader".

@mindless The worry is who will follow Trump. The American people seem to believe in its greatness, and it belongs on the world stage. Sadly it moves into isolationism.
