Wildfires a solution? Aqueducts!

If Europe were to construct aqueducts in high risk areas perhaps water from the ocean could be brought to the fires while slowing their spread with the barrier o an aqueduct. Maybe that’s why Roman Empire built them also to combat ocean level rise? Public works

A couple of things. You don't use salt water to fight wildfires. That's a very, very last resort. The equipment can't handle it and it destroys the soil. And a water barrier would only work in a wide open area on a grass fire. Trees burning means embers and they can fly for miles in the right conditions.
There have been great successes in China, turning down the fires a cooling cities. It's over your heads.

What a bright idea. I guess it's one of those things, just like the wheel, but no one thought of it.
