Russia has lost a number varying from 10 to 40+ of its strategic bombers (over one third) to literally some 3D printed drones

Wisely, Ukraine apparently told nothing to Trump about the operation before it began lol

@sstronaut It's already "all in" minus for nukes, first and foremost because it makes no sense bleeding yourself for 4 years fighting at a fraction of your force if you have more to use. The US before Pearl Harbor was a neutral party seeking to avoid involvement, Russia here is literally the aggressor, they don't have a comparable margin for getting more involved

And nukes are out for the obvious reason: if they use them they cease to exist too
@Elessar America was trying to stay out themselves, but they were also supplying the British and even sent some trainers to China. So I'm not sure they were neutral.

But yes, Russia government is on board with the war, but I'm not sure the citizens are...

And if it's a true Pearl Harbor moment, then now the citizens will be 100% on board and fully support it, when they were previously against it.

@sstronaut True but that's a position that in the current conflict is more similar to that of, say, Germany (not directly involved, not completely neutral either as it's supplying Ukraine, but with a major margin for getting more involved if things escalate). Russia can't really push more out of itself, or they'd have already. Sorta like how the Axis couldn't significantly increase their effort once the US was in, as they were already fully committed by that point

Popular support isn't that much of an impactful factor tbh, whether they support the war or not they're still sent in as cannon fodder and the decision making process is made by the same oligarchy as now, and the resource pool is the same too

@sstronaut It was a surprise moment and Russia cant rebuild the airplanes within time frame of next 20 years.
