My personal opinion is no. I'd also argue we've hardly had mass immigration, not like we (UK and many other European countries) imposed on countries which have become modern day USA, Canada, Australia and New Zealand etc.
I worked in London on and off for a substantial part of my career and I live about 40 miles from central London now and visit a reasonably amount. My son lived for 5 years in SE of London and we regularly visited that area when was there. So in my experience the immigrants I met and worked with largely only enhanced the workplace, the cultural vibe of the city and of course many many of them were (are) needed to maintain the services and help staff the organisations that bring in the prosperity to London. I know the old group I last worked in really struggles to recruit staff, particularly English as they simply don't have the skills needed etc.

We have never experienced anything approaching "mass immigration", either by historical or current day measures.
Has London been negatively impacted by immigration? On balance, no. Diversity and inclusion is its lifeblood. Without that, what is left? A polluted and rainy city which serves mainly the interests of the wealthy.
