What is an uap?

UFO is just an unidentified flying object. If it flies and you don't know what it is, it is an UFO.

@Zaphod42 By the sound of it that could even be a flashlight beam that you see in the sky. Except that that is easily identified.

@Classified Not always. On occasion, with mild fog and an object like a plastic bag in the wind blowing through a searchlight beam, some pretty strange effects can be seen.
