Is anyone on SW close to the California wild fires ???

It looks pretty bad,i wonder if the people have enough insurance to cover their losses ????

Sometimes insurance doesn't cover things that are highly probable like flood if you live in a flood zone. I wonder if LA is similar.

@JimboSaturn most buyers are required to obtain and retain flood insurance if in a flood zone, regardless the cost.
It's those that live close to those zones that arent required and neglect to get that insurance.

@Carla I know people who can't get flood insurance because of the likelyhood of floods.

@Carla I don't know, they have house insurance but the insurance doesn't cover flood they said.

In a flood zone. Ive never known a lender that would make that loan. There are ways around using a regular mortgage lender though, i suppose.
