My wife is currently in the Los Angeles area

She's a safe distance away from the wildfires going on over there, but she can see the smoke even from where she is in Whittier. I'm glad she's okay, but that's some scary stuff. She's supposed to be flying back this coming Sunday and the fires are close to LAX, where her flight's going to be. Hopefully they get it under control by then so she's able to get out of there in time.
