After so much talk the hurricane 🌀 wasn’t as devastating?

I’m not sure what the impact has been but it is downgraded to a category one hurricane, from what it sounded like was going to be a century changing hurricane! Are our predictions getting better or too hyped up by the media?

The hurricane loosens up before hitting the coast. There where 2 eye lines visible. The smaller eye more or less collapsed and got bigger with time. Good thing about it is that the wind speeds decrease with it. Bad thing is that the chance of heavy rainfall and floodings increase with it. It's a give and take.
