Never mind what's your bed like

I tell my daughter that civilisation will collapse if she does not make her bed each day and pick up her clothes from the floor. She takes this very seriously 😔

I thought society was collapsing when our servants left and I was expected to do some work.

I think it depends on what one believes to be the base of a civilisation.

(Obviously we didn't have servants in my house - that's what younger siblings and parents were for)
