If it's done on a systemic level, why wouldn't it?
gol979 · 41-45, M
@BohemianBabe why would it? Please elaborate

@gol979 Climate change is caused by pollution, which is caused by all living things. By breeding cattle for the meat and dairy industry, we're creating the high level of pollution that is altering the climate. Basically, the population of cows is artificially created. Now if we were to cull the cow population simply by ending the meat and dairy industry, we'd have infinitely less pollution.

@BohemianBabe you are spewing bullshit. Ordinary people want to get on with their lives, pay their bills and enjoy whatever left.
Only the WEST is concerned by this BS. You think Africans and Chinese care ? No wonder it is called the White Disease.
Imagine a world without pastures and cows and sheep and goats...what a sad world.

@revenant That's nice, but it has nothing to do with anything I said.
Ending the meat and dairy industries would drastically reduce pollution. Either explain how my takes are wrong or stfu.

@BohemianBabe you are living in a basement somewhere...

@revenant Deflection. You have no answer because you know I'm correct.

@BohemianBabe all !iving things are killing us? Yet more uber malthusian context.
And i agree that mass animal farming causes undue suffering to the cattle and misuse of land, but i do not condone ending eating meat and having cattle culled and disagree with your reasoning re co2 and methane. There are other ways to farm.....but this has almost been destroyed by big agriculture. Same cronies who own big pharma, big oil, monetary systems and who are at the vanguard of the green agenda, which is the antithesis of "green"

@gol979 That certainly was unhinged, but it was also beside the point.
Ending the systemic breeding of cattle would drastically reduce pollution. I've yet to hear a good argument for not banning meat and dairy.

@BohemianBabe "i want to cull millions of cattle. All living things are killing us. What!!!! You are proposing a different method rather than culling and banning.......you are unhinged"
Ive just given you an alternative but it doesnt involve mass culling and controlling changes to human society. Older/forgotten ways to tend the land and rear cattle....but you will not entertain that idea
