Well to change the climate would take way longer than any of us will exist.
We are in a sphere around the sun known as the (habitable Zone) where it’s perfect distance from the sun to sustain life.
Things like emission, digging, mining, tunnelling etc, has thrown off the balance of how our earth rotates. Our earth spinning off balance and will once day be SCORCHED by the sun making earth a lava planet.
Science is advancing in space travel and exploration because it would be easier to move to and repopulate another planet than fix the one we have now.
I try to do my part to help the environment but me not littering isn’t gonna contend an oil factory spewing out smog nonstop.

I’m not pretending anything we are advancing telescopes to see through the gasses of space to find planets in habitable zones.

Like why are your so triggered of my opinion? You don’t have to be a space expert when they announce GLOBALLY that the James Webb telescope is being launched by America.
