we are not quite there,, but getting closer
they certianly use up some bad resources, I am thinking about the cobalt.
but yes, they can be made in ways that will lower the co2 output

@Amylynne I will always prefer reliable gas and diesel. Nothing about an electric high tech computer controlled car excites me. The more technology the more problems and failures.
Amylynne · 26-30, F
@Baremine you may be mistaken E cars often use way less parts and except for the batteries,, last long and way more powerful if that is an issue
excitment? that is not my transportation goal.
lots to perfect as yes, but ultimately a more robust tech
he more technology the more problems and failures.

the same was true with gas cars.you seem to be of an age when gettin 80,000 miles on a car was wild and unheard of

now we get cars yes gas,, tht oftne exceed 300 000 I just WISH those were American cars most of those are japan's, ( some made right here in the us)

@Amylynne had 2 vw rabbit Diesel with 400000 miles assembled USA Ford ranger pu over 400k. Ford fusion 375000 and counting. Biggest problem with the Tauruses fusion and ranger was the damn computers.
Amylynne · 26-30, F
@Baremine agreed about the computers
now that rabbit diesel? it and the pickup they made was awesome my dad STILL has his, tho kind retired it
we CAN make good cars in the US honda vw, subaru all do this
but detroit dont make many cars now
alll "light trucks". like one care each for GM and ford
more profits being exempt from may safety standards
rented a toyota e car wes smooth an effective
GM was going to lead the world on this. even got behind a gret battery from an American inventor
then they sold the rights to Toyota..who broke into the US market wiht that

watch "who killed the electic car"
yes biased, but factual
