World destruction by man

Here we are, 2025. We have EV cars all over the planet trying to save it. Reducing our pollution in great leaps and bounds. Meanwhile the forest industry cuts down all the trees. We continue to build oil pipelines through pristine forests, and every spring airplanes fly overhead dropping poison over the city to kill the bugs. "It won't harm the fish" they claim, and yet, with no bugs there are no fish. Without bugs there are no birds. Entire ecosystems are destroyed, but nobody cares. Nobody sees it, it isn't important.
The air smells better anyway, before the end, well, until you smell that stuff they are spraying.

I don't understand where we even get the concept of "saving" the earth. When the earth is what sustains is. Do you ever think about the fact that we are walking over decomposed bodies, how many unmarked graves do we walk upon everyday and even plant our crops over. There's a well somewhere on someone's property with bodies in it and they don't even realize it. Think about civilizations long ago where there were mass graves that our neighborhoods are built on top of .
@AngelUnforgiven When you die, your body breaks down to earth matter. You are not walking on anyone's grave. The bones may remain a while longer, but the bodies are long gone.

There's more trees in the world now than 30 years ago ago.

One of the items on my bucket list is to consume the last of a species. 😁

@MarineBob Actually I don't, but no worry, my ass is cleaner than yours is. Save the trees, we need them to breath.
