Why would anyone build a prison camp in a biologically important ecosystem like the Everglades?

This is going to cause environmental destruction and health hazards and a major flood hazard if the wetlands were drained or blocked.

Don't forget that the Amazon rainforest is considered like the lungs of the Earth and the Everglades is like the kidneys of the Earth, destroying these important bio safety nets is disastrous for everyone.

I bet he broke every environmental rule in the book building the prison – but he don’t care. Just like he didn’t care when he destroyed sand dunes that were an important part of the ecosystem when he built his golf club in Scotland. I think he picked the everglades because it is private so it would be easy to hide what happens there. Cheers!
this isnt gonna end well...
