What could you eat, from your immediate environment, if everything were to shut down?

How educated are you in the things that grow around you? How many things do you pass everyday, that could be a source of nutrition, but are ignored by most everyone?
@UnderLockDown 馃yes too survive say in the wild you would have too eat what nature has provided . but you have too also be careful and know exactly what you are eating and what is poisionous that would make you ill or kill you even
@smiler2012 I guess you learned that around Anfield.

@MarineBob there are a lot of Canada geese and some ducks in this area too, those geese need to be thinned out. They have increased in population every year for decades and are an invasive species.

@cherokeepatti I imagine goose would be similar to duck, and duck is delicious.

I guess we could cook up some alligator, but it wouldn't be my number one choice. We do have wild boars. They would be much better tasting I think.

@UnderLockDown I really don't know.

I live on a big lake. Fish, ducks, geese. In the woods around me are deer, squirrels, rabbits, raccoons just for starters.
My garden is full of fruit trees, we dont have much left though 馃
