If the judge is not corrupt , and the jury acquits in spite of a preponderance of evidence , the judge can at the request of the prosecutor or on their own authority make a directed verdict of guilty and let the appellate court sort it out..

The crazy looking woman was arrested on one charge of Intimidation of a witness, juror, may be she heard the voice too.
