Conan!! Jay relied too heavily on moving his massive chin in that trademark way, Conan's personality was riveting in comparison. Now that being said, Letterman is better than both put together, Carson is better than all 3, and better than all 4 put together was Dick Cavett!!

Jay Leno. Though any of them were better than the schmucks who are on now.

Conan. I have my problems with Leno.

Never paid any attention to either of them. I liked Steve Allen. And Jack Paar was pretty good.
