Why is all poetry shit?

Do people only pretend to like it so they seem clever? Some of it doesn't even ryhme.

I really, really don't like American football. Yet I don't criticize others from watching it. 🤷‍♂️

To tell the truth, I really don't like any professional sports. Just that football is one of the worst of the lot.
