Why is all poetry shit?

Do people only pretend to like it so they seem clever? Some of it doesn't even ryhme.

Poetry is a deadly virus from outer space disguised as language.

I have started a petition to ban poetry outright in my town.
With the sole exception of 'Beasley Street' by the renowned bard of Salford,Dr.Cooper-Clarke. Johnny knows his way around a rhymescheme,y'see.

@dubkebab actually that's not too bad. But most guys who try and do poetry seem proper gay
