I'll jump of a bridge that's high enough to hurt me real bad, but not high enough to kill me in public. A bystander will probably call an ambulance on my behalf, and once in the hospital, administration will almost certainly want someone who speaks English to talk to me so I can pay my bills (if applicable) and answer medical questions. Unless they're a real douchebag, they'll hook me up with someone who can actually help.
Alternatively, I could look for an airport and attempt to walk in. I would almost certainly be stopped by security and interviewed, at which point I could explain my situation to an agent that speaks English. Should be relatively easy to find an airport if one's nearby for obvious reasons.
