@foldedunfolding there's just so much south of there actively trying to kill you in slow and/or painful ways that I just recommend having a quick out in the likelyhood you end up praying for a quick death.

It's a terrifying hemisphere.

@MethDozer ever watch court tv? s0o0o many huge cases coming out of there..plus the stand your ground law/castle doctrine..desantis don't say gay laws..people relasing exotic animals into the wild that turn into huuuuge snakes that eat SLEEPING CROCS WHOLE..

@foldedunfolding no, not much. Court room procedure. Criminal justice in general bores the living daylight out of me. Especially the kinda of cases most TV programs present as even remotely interesting.

Kinda of track but I'm kind of an outcast with my like minded peers on castle doctrine and kind of agree with it on some levels. Though I do think it is implemented in a problematic way and upheld as a legal argument in bad faith and incongruently.
